This chapbook contains “Prince George, Part I” and “Sixty,” two poems from a larger collection McKinnon has been working on for a number of years. In them he continues his exploration of a longer poetic form he both developed and mastered.

Barry McKinnon presently lives in Prince George. He plans to move further north and then to Bolivia. A champion of the “little press,” he is the author of more than a dozen books, in both “full length” and smallpress editions. These include The the (Coach House, 1980), a finalist for the Governor General Award, Arrythmia (Gorse Press, 1994), winner of the bpNichol chapbook award, Pulp Log, (Caitlin Press, 1991), and The Centre (Caitlin Press, 1995). Most recently he published The Centre: Poems 1970-2000 with Talon.
